UPDATE: Postponed

In view of the passing of our Holy Father, Pope Francis, the canonisation of Bl. Carlo Acutis has been postponed, and all corresponding events and celebrations at the Shrine of Hope for Young People in Chatswood have likewise been postponed. When new dates are known this site will be updated, so stay tuned! In the meantime, please pray for the repose of Pope Francis.

A festival week for young people 27 Apr – 2 May

Carlo Acutis will be canonised on 27th April, and the Diocese of Broken Bay will be celebrating with an enormous week of celebration at the Shrine of Hope for Young People, hosted by the Parish of our Lady of Dolours… you are invited to join us!

The week will feature Masses with visiting Cardinals and Bishops, a public screening of Carlo Acutis Roadmap to Reality, and a forecourt bonfire every evening from 27th April to 2nd May, closing with PraiseFest on Friday 2nd May. You can see details and times in the graphic below.

This week is a wonderful opportunity for schools to send groups to the Shrine, and for young adults to come along too.

If this is your first visit to the Shrine for the Jubilee Year, don’t forget to get your Passport stamped!
